WHAT:
The Space Free Community Hike
Because social wellness is also found off our mats
WHEN:
Meet at the trailhead at 8am sharp.
Expect to get off the trail by or before 1pm (It is all uphill on the way back.)
WHO:
All are welcome! Bring friends, spouses, etc.

DIRECTIONS:
From Sacramento, take Interstate 80 east and exit at North Canyon Way (exit 135) at Colfax. Turn left on North Canyon Way, which parallels the freeway, and after a short distance you'll see a parking area sign on the left that says, "Steven's Trail."
SPECIFICS:
Total hike is about 9 miles up and back. Although we anticipate cooler spring weather, there is not a lot of shade. Hydration is key! Please make sure to bring ample water and electrolytes (LMNT, Re-Lyte and sea salt are great options).
We will hike down to the American River and plunge!
WHAT TO BRING:
Water, electrolytes and sea salt
Snacks (we recommend fruit, protein, easily packable items)
Towel
Bathing Suit/Shorts
Sunscreen
Good hiking shoes/tennis shoes
