Embodied
A yoga teacher training
Embodied means to live from and through the body. When we can start with our physical bodies, we can then explore the spiritual and emotional parts of ourselves.
Program Overview
2023 Teacher Training
This is a training that is brought to you by seasoned teachers who are very much still students. With over 13 years of teaching experience, Jen and Katie will be continuing the teaching lineage that they themselves began from. They will also be using their own lived experiences to take you through this embodied training.
We will go over how to teach a foundational class so that you can feel confident to take your teachings into your communities. We will also explore our own bodies and their edges. You will gain experiences from this training that will take you to infinite possibilities and potential.
And almost most importantly, you will connect with your teacher training group. This container will offer fun, play and connectedness.

Through consistent action steps, he designed the life he always wanted, despite challenges like a COVID-19 disruption amidst Teacher Training, injuries, and setbacks.
In his sharing sessions, Adam will recount his journey and provide steps to design one's dream life. He will share habits he acquired along the way, emphasizing consistency, self-discipline, and self-care. Adam will also discuss aligning actions with values, self-reflection, and personal growth. Sarah has been a personal trainer and fitness instructor for the last 16 years. 5 years ago, she discovered yoga and added a 200 hr. YTT, multiple Buti Yoga certifications and a certification in Buddhi Yoga to her resume. Her favorite thing to teach is a combination of all these modalities, a class she calls Fusion.
Since 2011, Sarah has owned, co-owned and operated 4 different movement studios. She currently owns Unbound Yoga & Fitness in Orangevale. The thing she loves the most about studio ownership (and what drove her to step into an owner’s role in the first place) is her desire to create an experience for the people she serves. Her focus in teaching and in studio management is to deliver a fun, physically challenging, and friendly environment where all feel welcome to move their bodies, calm their minds, nourish their souls and be in community.
She has 3 children, and her husband is also a busy entrepreneur. Their life together is full, fun and always an adventure!

Growing up in the PNW, ever curious about what drives health & disease Scott studied natural medicine and took an unconventional, non-linear route to find the truth he was seeking beyond what was offered in traditional academia. Focusing on vitality and what drives it by observing people living in harmony with nature with no chronic disease or illness as we know it in the West led to fundamental laws of health that allopathic medicine has largely left behind.
This foundation was built from the value of Hydration at the core and over time created an umbrella of Lifestyle Pillars to help guide people back into balance. Coaching & Consulting has been his medium to work with individuals & corporate wellness clients; focusing on an epigenetic approach to make upgrades and healthy boundaries of a human’s ecosystem for better health outcomes.
Working with The M Clinic since 2018 as an Intrinsic Health Coach, Scott has worked with many people from across the globe 1:1 & small group settings to support the transformation process as people learn to embody the fundamentals of a healthy mind, body, & spirit. Empowering others to find their deepest truth is one of his greatest joys. In Jan 2022 The M Clinic launched “The Journey of Intrinsic Health”, an 8 week deep dive online course into the 8 pillars of fundamental wellbeing from Dr. Zach Bush MD, to connect humans from any walk of life back to their core self & nature’s biodiversity through the lens of the microbiome in and all around us. Scott leads groups and 1:1 coaching support to participants of this program helping to build the global Intrinsic Health Family.
Living in Northern California now, you can find him leading workshops & retreats focusing on fundamental health pillars- hydration/water/fasting, microbiome/gut health, nutrition/food education,sunlight/grounding/meditation, movement/breathwork, cold water immersion/sauna, stand up paddling, and reconnecting to nature’s wisdom & ultimate playground!

Dr. Todd Drybread has been practicing Chiropractic since 2001. In addition to teaching yoga, he currently runs his own practice as well as a Professor of Anatomy and Physiology at Cosumnes River College. As a Chiropractor, Exercise Specialist, Yoga Teacher, and College Professor, Dr. Todd has a great knowledge of proper biomechanics of the body and proper rehabilitation. Dr. Todd uses his knowledge of the body and the expertise gained from his studies to provide an understanding of how the body works in a unique way that easy to understand and is applicable to not only your yoga practice but your everyday activities.
Dr. Todd’s yoga classes are powerful classes that incorporate subtle body cues that bring awareness to your body while allowing freedom to take your practice where you need to go. No two bodies are alike, and no two people will experience the pose in the same way. Dr. Todd will guide you through classes in a way that allows you to find your body and have an experience on your mat, rather than just another class.
Dr. Todd’s Anatomy courses are much the same. Rather than teaching you about “The Body,” he teaches you about “Your Body.” The Why Anatomy of Yoga programs, take the traditional learnings of the body’s anatomy and physiology and not only applies it to your yoga practice but give you a deeper insight into the why of it all.
