Intro to Tarot w/ Sarah Cayer |
Friday, Sept 26th
2 hours | Intro Workshop | Symbolism + Intuition | Community Connection
“We do not see things as they are; we see things as we are.”
The Tarot is a seeker’s journey.
Part One: Intro to Tarot
In this immersive workshop, students will dive into the fundamentals of a traditional Tarot deck. Interactive discussions and activities will guide participants to explore art/imagery, symbolism, and foundational elements of tarot to enhance intuitive understanding. The cards are rich; full of sacred symbolism and archetypal characters. For centuries, these cards have been a tool for storytelling, self discovery, prediction, transformation — and of course— magic.
Sarah has been reading Tarot cards for over 12 years and is an avid collector of unique decks. Her Tarot journey was actually the catalyst that led her to yoga. “Everything is connected.” Private readings are a large piece of what Sarah has to share; but she is very passionate about teaching people to read cards on their own. Practical use is critical. This is an accessible tool for personal growth — if you choose.
The Space hopes to take a dynamic approach in health and wellness… there are many tools we can put in our “wellness box,” we get to choose what works for us!
Like yoga… Tarot is a practice. It takes time, patience, and an openness to explore. There is no final destination — only a continuous unfolding…
Each Tarot deck contains 78 cards, all depicting an image that reflects a facet of the human experience! Some moments carry more weight than others; meanings shift depending on timelines and context.
The cards open many doors! Combinations and stories are endless… let’s talk about it?
